Where to Begin?
We begin with an extensive diagnostic evaluation that helps determine your individual son or daughter's current abilities. This initial assessment includes a thorough explanation of the results and our professional recommendations. With your permission, we will share the test results and goals with your son or daughter's teacher and work together to achieve success in the school classroom.

What is the next step?
These results are then used to develop an individualized program to help students build a solid educational foundation.

What are the results?
In the Academics Plus prescriptive program students average a gain of one and one-half years of reading improvement and over two years of math improvement in just 48 hours of instruction.

Who are we?
Melinda Crenwelge, Ph. D. and Mark Crenwelge, M.A. owners/directors, began as educators in Collin County in 1984. Melinda's doctoral degree is in reading, and Mark's master's degree is in mathematics with postgraduate work in psychology.

As parents and active members of our communities, we value the importance of quality education. Academics Plus is an education resource dedicated to working closely with school personnel, parents, and students to provide personalized supplemental education.
